The Sorceress of Oz

We report on an empirical study aiming to analyze the importance of mutual understanding and shared context for human-computer social interaction. Subjects are asked to collaborate with a small robot in a smart environment. The Sorceress of Oz is presented as an alternative to the Wizard of Oz, and preliminary results are presented.
