1 ALCHEMY - Architectures, Languages and Compilers to Harness the End of Moore Years

This paper describes DigLC2, a gate-level simulator for the Little Computer 2 architecture (LC-2) which serves to strengthen the bottom-up approach to teach computer architecture. DigLC2 is based on Chipmunk's digital circuit simulator; the circuit is freely available on the web and ready to use.
