Modeling and Flexible exploitation of Audio Documents

The overwhelming growth of multimedia information as well as its dematerialization and accessibility through the World Wide Web, present new research challenges in modeling, storage, retrieval and document analysis. The users need an easily handle of this huge multimedia information. Having in mind this need, the development of content based multimedia indexing and retrieval appears to be in the spotlight of multimedia manipulation research. This paper presents a system designed for the management of multimedia documents warehouse. It aims to face the problems of efficient media processing and representation throw logical and semantic classification, modeling and exploitation.
