Some remarks about the Riemann problem of first order Hamilton--Jacobi equations on general geometries

1 SINUS - Numerical Simulation for the Engineering Sciences

We are interested in the most general Riemann problem for first order Hamilton--Jacobi equations. We propose two inequalities that the viscosity solution satisfies. This generalize a result of Bardi and Osher.
