Résumé

The Digital Volume Correlation (DVC) method, in its finite elements based approach (FE-DVC), may lead to excessive computing time when using fine meshes and/or large regions of interest (ROI). In this way, a new DVC algorithm is proposed, aiming at speeding-up volumetric displacement field measurements. The proposed method is based on the Proper Generalized Decomposition (PGD) and consists in building a separated representation of the unknown field. Synthetic cases are used to compare the efficiency of PGD-DVCand standard FE-DVC. In addition, a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of a trabecular bone under compression is analyzed
