Endommagements de composites stratifiés et sandwiches sous impact de gélatine moyenne vitesse

Abstract : This paper presents an experimental campaign in order to reproduce a loading similar to underwater blast on composite structures. The idea is to use a soft impact (gelatine) to generate a loading similar to the pressure wave occuring in underwater blast. Digital image stereo-correlation performed on three laminates and two sandwiches allows to identify various failure behaviors. These results are in agreement with observations performed during quasi-static bending tests on the same materials.
