Réparation de pièces structurales monolithiques aéronautiques

Abstract : Repair of mainprimary composite structures is a great challengein the medium term with the entryinto serviceof the A350and B787fleets. To address this question, the MITE Toolbox (Multi-Instrumented Technological Evaluator) is introducedfor composite components design. For large bonded repairs of primary structure, we develop a representative specimen havingthe same characteristics as the original in terms of manufacture, materials, stress fields, and is tested using diverse metrological meanswith the support of an originalmulti-axial set-up. This paper presentsan example the MITE Toolbox approach illustrated through the following steps: choosing critical zone, numerical design of the test, manufacturing, machining and repair, mechanical tests and post-mortem analysis.
