A Survey on RFID Technology ant its Impact on Enterprises

RFID is a big step forward when compared to bar codes. Since we face an emerging technology, we propose a succinct guideline [1, 2] for its deployment in operations management. Existing and conceivable applications, as well as industrial sectors that already use the technology are presented. A particular attention is paid to use of RFID to improve the efficiency of supply chains.
