DTG4.2: Experimental Semantic Enrichment of Enterprise Models for Interoperability and its Practical Impact

Résumé

The task group “Semantic Enrichment of Models and Architecture & Platforms” focuses on the improvement of interoperability solutions and practices by combining concepts and techniques coming from three domains (Enterprise Modeling, Ontology, Architecture and Platforms). Semantic enrichment of enterprise models is performed thanks to the provision of semantic annotations associated with models and fragments of models. The main aim of these annotations is to make explicit the meaning and the structure of the models to enable their understanding, their exchange and their possible transformation between collaborating actors (human or machine). An experimental method of work drives the task group activity to help in the discovery of the types of semantic annotations that are of interest for enterprise models.
