A Luenberger-like Interval Observer for a Class of Uncertain Discrete-time Systems

Résumé

This work deals with the design of interval observer for a class of uncertain discrete-time dynamical systems. The proposed interval observer is considered as an extension of the punctual Luenberger-like observer. Based on the interval analysis a converging numerical scheme is proposed to frame in a guaranteed way all the possible estimation error consistent with the system’s uncertainties. No condition on the monotonicity of the system nor on the observer is required. An numerical example is presented to illustrate the performance of the proposed interval observer.
